The Amish came to the United States in the early 18th century to escape religious persecution from Europe. Originally farmers, many Amish diversified, developing trades and specialized in carpentry, building, furniture, and more recently, industrial-related trades and services. Innovative and hard-working, they are known for their exceptional craftmanship.
With a rich heritage of responsibility to family and community, they have a mindset of building into and for future generations.
